One of the Most Flexible Aluminum Alloys
6061 Aluminum is an aluminum-silicon-magnesium alloy which is strengthened through precipitation hardening, this makes for excellent machinability, bending and weldability. This alloy is corrosion resistant and has excellent joining characteristics, good acceptance to anodizing and is easily cold worked and formed in the annealed condition.
TCI Precision Aluminum Blanks are precision ground or milled, on either the thickness, or all 6 dimensions. Tolerances on precision dimensions are +/- .002".
